My Quickest Turnaround!

I almost QUIT this jam...
I just finished my entry for the GMTK 2022 Game Jam, a whopping 12 hours early! Every Jam I've done before this I was working on it down to the last minutes before the deadlines.
Today I was agonizing over the game I was working on. I had so many technical difficulties that I was already 24 hours into it with basically nothing to show for it. I had to cut my losses and scrap the project. I decided I was done with the Jam. It was a bitter-sweet feeling. After finally getting closure about abandoning the game, it didn't take me long to have a second wave of motivation and decide that I was NOT going to just quit! I would come up with the simplest Game Jam game I've ever done!
I present to you, "Island Pair-a-dice!" It's basically the game "Skunk" which is absurdly simple, but I was able to spend a ton of time polishing the whole experience! This game took me 12 hours from start to finish! I am very proud and glad I didn't quit.
This might be my last Game Jam for a while at least, because I'm getting married in 3 months!
Thanks for reading!
